Hosts and Team
We, the Geiger-Brückl family from the Bavarian Forest, are hosts with passion. The family-run wellness hotel was founded in the 70`s as a café with rentable pension rooms. Until today, the Hotel Waldeck in Bodenmais has been lovingly developed into a 4-star hotel. Nowadays, the third generation leads the traditional Bavarian house with a lot of commitment and passion.

Supported by a 25-member team, we lead the fortunes as a family with a lot of heart and charm. Daughter Christina at the reception and in service, son Alexander in the kitchen and in the large garden and the parents Namen Geiger-Brückl and Klaus Brückl as hotel managers. Bavarian hospitality is not a slogan for us, but a lived tradition.
