Baumwipfelei in the Bavarian Forest National Park

Another popular vacation destination in the Bodenmais region is hidden in the middle of the Bavarian Forest Nature Park at the Lusen National Park Center near Neuschönau. Here, the barrier-free treetop path leads through the unique forest landscape of the Bavarian Forest past numerous learning and adventure stations. With a total length of 1,300 meters and a height of 8 to 25 meters, the path offers its visitors fantastic views of the Bavarian Forest landscape and, with its maximum gradient of just 6%, also allows wheelchairs and strollers to ascend.

Particularly beautiful is also the climatic health resort Bodenmais, which is not far from the Bavarian Forest National Park. Here you will also find plenty of sights for the whole family.
